GM Chevrolet 6.2 379 2009-2015 - Aluminum Block with AFM & VVT

Description

When introduced in 2007, the 6.2 379 didn’t include alternative fuel management.

In 2009, the L99, based on the stock Corvette engine during this time period, was introduced. The L99 included AFM and VVT, and was found on some of the most sought-after performance vehicles of the time.

2009 additionally say the modified version of the L92 engine found in Chevy/GM trucks with active fuel management. These systems were put into luxury trucks and SVUs of the time period.
